You Know Why Hannie Schaft matters now?

You know why Hannie Schaft matters now? Because we’ve gotten too comfortable. We confuse inconvenience with oppression. Hannie fought actual authoritarianism. The real kind, with guns and lists of people to kill. A film about her is a wake-up call: freedom doesn’t survive on autopilot. It survives because regular people, not superheroes, not celebrities, stand up and say, ‘No, not on my watch.’ And if that message makes the extremists on either side uncomfortable? Good. It should. Be part of telling the story the world can’t afford to forget. ❤️ Susan Goforth   #TimothyHines #SusanGoforth #TheRedHeadMovie #HannieSchaft #WWIIFilm #TrueStoryFilm #WomenInHistory #ResistanceHero #PendragonPictures #IndieFilmmakers #AwardWinningFilmmakers #WorldWarIIMovies #BiographicalFilm

She smuggled weapons, delivered coded messages, sabotaged German operations, and executed targeted assassinations. Fluent in German, she deceived enemy soldiers face to face. The Gestapo hunted her relentlessly, ca...
