Thank You, Los Angeles & New York City – What a Joyful Start! #TheWildeGirls

The Wilde Girls just wrapped its triumphant theatrical run in NYC + LA…and it’s just getting started! The comedy will soon be coming in late July to theaters across the US. While exact dates are still crystallizing and yet to be announced, the giant success of the exhibition theatrical opening has paved the way for a major rollout for this indie sleeper hit.

Following an exclusive premiere at the prestigious Laemmle NoHo 7, where films  such as Oscar winners as Sideways, Poor Things, and Oppenheimer premiered, indeed, more Oscar contenders have premiered at the Los Angeles theater chain than any other venue.

To everyone who came out to see The Wilde Girls at the historic Laemmle NoHo 7 in Los Angeles and Cinema Village in New York City—Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.

Your laughter, your tears, your support, and your presence made our exhibition run a joyful celebration of independent cinema. Watching you fill the seats, hearing your reactions, and meeting so many of you after the screenings reminded us why we tell stories in the first place: to connect.

It was especially moving to see so many people choosing to spend their afternoon or evening at the movies. In an age of streaming and distractions, your decision to sit in a dark theater and experience our heartfelt satire live with others means everything.

From the cast and crew to everyone behind the scenes who poured love into this film—thank you. You showed up, you shared your excitement, and you helped us prove there’s still a place for bold, funny, emotional, human films on the big screen.

We’re thrilled to share that The Wilde Girls will be expanding to more cities nationwide this July. We can't wait to bring the laughter, the heart, and the wild journey of Tinsley and Mattie to audiences across the country.

Until then, stay tuned, share your favorite moments, and keep showing the world that original stories still matter.

With love and excitement,
Susan Goforth

Only full movie theaters this year I've seen were The Wilde Girls and Mission Impossible Final Dead Reckoning. Thrilling!
